Sock Monkey has made it to the midway point of the Appalachian Trail in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia!
It only took him 4 hours, and he got there by car, but he is absolutely EXHAUSTED.
He has so many words of warning about this hike for his friends, a lovely couple who are getting ready to kiss their luxuries good-bye and walk the entire 2,180+ miles of this sucker. But to that I say, don’t listen to monkeys made out of socks. Because that particular monkey has given me some really bad advice throughout the years, such as, try this cantaloupe! It only LOOKS overripe!
