I’m so impressed with all the educators right now who are working hard to reach and teach their students.
One of my very favorite educators is pre-school/kindergarten teacher Mrs. Huffman, who also happens to be one of my very best friends.
I hope you’ll enjoy listening to her talk about how the book Bee-Wigged came to be!
Please stay well!
Thank you for sharing this. Three cheers for Mrs. Huffman!
I will never forget when my daughter and I arrived at that super exciting climax of Bee-Wigged for the first time. We rolled around on the floor laughing and laughing. And then we read it again and again!
When Cece presented the book to me that day in Charlottesville, I was totally surprised and overwhelmed to realize that the wig was “Wiglet” a fury guinea pig. I never saw it coming. The saddest part of this story is that my Nana had just passed away a week earlier at the age of 101 1/2! She was an amazing woman. I hadn’t told Cece, until that very moment. Nana would have LOVED this book!
I am so happy to know that others love this book like I do. Hooray for Jerry Bee! Hooray for Wiglet!
