Shakespearean red panda

It’s tough to do these on a day like today: after resting up from a most lovely party last night in Charlottesville hosted by kid lit expert extraordinaire Joan Kindig, Tom and I did 2 shows each this morning for some awesome kids in a summer reading program, then I met the darling Kelli Huffman for lunch, waved good-bye to beach-going kids and husband, hightailed it home (interstates, even, and I rarely do that) in time for a meeting about the 3rd annual Tomato Festival, finally got home and ate 4 or maybe 5 ounces of cheese and a dirty carrot…and then did the drawing of the day. Good gravy. So it’s not all that great. But it’s done!
